Daniel Fairbairn

Daniel began painting at the age of 9, and soon found himself comfortable creating flights of the imagination in acrylics on paper. His first commercial ventures in art were producing hand painted t-shirts sold to school friends, and later on even branching out to customising motorcycle paintwork and commercial murals. Completing a Foundation Art course but failing to gain entry to University, Daniel found his way into a career in the Offshore industry. 15 years later, and he found himself no longer part of a shrinking industry, and turned misfortune into opportunity. 

His body of work is increasing and he has already sold works to various private collectors and through commissions. 

A life spent growing up around the coast of east and west Scotland and the east coast of England has tied his soul to the beauty and changing colour that can only be found where the Sea meets the Land. In his work he brings those moments to others, to share the dance of colour and space.
