He was stripped to the waist due to the heat, and had put as much paint on himself as his canvas. I painted it quickly as I wanted to capture his zest and thirst for action. My first serious Solo show, showcasing my last 6months of work. Displayed in the Gallery at Glenfiddich Distillery, Dufftown, during the local Whisky Festival. It attracted a wide range of visitors from all around the world, and afforded me invaluable feedback on my work. The overall experience was affirming and a joy. Over 70% of the work was sold.
